Memories I Survived Read Count : 99

Strength is a prison
And I'm there for life
Nothing can free me
I'm holding the knife
It's coated in blood
It's covered in screams
It wears the nightmares
More than just dreams
Memories of terror
I had to survive
Moments of darkness
But I'm still alive
Standing in silence
A shield made of brave
My strength is a prison
That no one can save
Only I hold the key
And it's covered in rust
Layered with people
That turned hope to dust
And yet I'm still here
Standing alone
My strength is a prison
But I call it home.
