My mind is drowning in darkness
My soul is mired in tears
I'm racing through the emptiness
Away from all my fears
I refuse to let them catch me
I won't be the one to fall
When all of this is over
I'll still be standing tall
Able to say with dignity
Life didn't break me, after all.
