I learned that things in our lives 

Happen for a reason,

 But my mind only keeps thoughts

 That I should forget about them.
 I look at you through the photos I saved, 

But I know what your skin smells

 Like after a long bath with me.
 I learned that you don't forget someone,

 You don't even see them for a long time,

 Their imprint remains on your heart

 And they won't tell you how to forget them

 At the end of your life.
