I could be in a room full of people,
with good times and happy moments,
Music, fun and laughter filling the air,
And I still miss you by my side.

No matter where life takes me
Or the joy it brings to my heart,
Everything just feels incomplete
Until I can share it all with you.

Surrounded by my family and friends,
Celebrating, enjoying and loving the moment,
Unless you are by my side, holding my hand,
It just doesn’t feel right when you’re not there.

I can’t explain how very deeply we are connected,
But I can feel you across a room or miles away,
Something deeper than I’ve ever known
Ties my heart and soul beautifully to yours.

Once, I swore never to need another,
To stand strong on my own, defiant and proud,
To never be beholden to my heart and feelings,
Until you came into my life and changed it all.

Now, in the blink of an eye from worlds apart,
You have become my everything,
My best friend, my lover, my soul mate, my heart,
And the one thing I could never..
Live without is you, ever again.
