You know me by the way 

I used to worry about you, 

When the night was the right time

 To call you and stay on the phone

 Until your darkness rose above my room. 
 You know me by the way I laughed 

When you shared with me,

 Part of your happiness.
 Now it's strange for you to see me smiling

 Without your words and jokes,

 I've matured by youth, without you with me.
 You know me as I was.

You don't know how I am,

You look into my eyes

 But they don't tell you anything

 Of what I feel anymore.
