Do you remember which station
We have to get off at?
We go without even stopping
For a cup of water, some drinks, to talk.

Do you remember the address:
The house number, the street,
'Cause I don't remember anything,
But still everything seems already seen.

Do you remember how long we've been away?
The watch on the hand has stopped,
The steps are no longer going on the streets,
The steps turn back towards the field...

We arrived too early or too late,
All I've lived is a dead man's dream.
Do you remember the address:
The house number, the street,
'Cause I don't remember anything,
But still everything seems already seen.
