I saw the trees swaying in the darknessExhausted and cold I fell to the groundThunder and wind blew all around meAnd it felt as if death had found meCold and darkness enveloped my mindNo hope left of any kindA tiny sound made me awakeFor me it was as shocking as an earthquakeFor a songbird did sing it's songAnd let me know I had one more day to do right or wrong .Such a tiny thing to bring hope to the forsakenAll alone and half dead in a land unkindHow else should we suppose that knowledge be takenIf not found by those who have almost lost their mind
