You can love me or not,
 In my chest there is room 
For my love and your heart.  

I can share my thoughts with your mind, 
Talking at midnight about days gone by. 

 You can hug me tight, 
The journey was long and chilly,
 The wind tore my veins, 
Leaving them abandoned...

 Like violins without strings, 
Like singers without feelings. 

 You can kiss me or not,
 I'll still remember the kiss 
I've never felt on my lips.

You can say goodbye when you leave, 
Maybe when you come back, 
I'll still be here... waiting for my death.
