When i lost you my world went dark
Being close to you was all ive known
Theres not a day that goes by that youre not on my mind
I miss you more than any word can describe
I know youd want me happy
But everything reminds me of you
The memories will never fade
In my heart youll always stay
Reminiscing on the good times
What i wouldnt do to have one more day with you
People tell me i need to learn to cope
But they dont know what it means to lose a loved one
It hurts deep down in my soul
Living without you is harder than you know
I just wish i couldve told you one last time
 how much i loved you,
  Or how much you meant to me 
Giving you one last hug and kiss for closure
Or to be by your side as you took that last breathe
Being alone was no way to go
Im sorry for missing that call
I love you more than i couldve possibly shown
I miss you dad
