I know we never actually said goodbye but who were we fooling?

The childish hopes and dreams kept on the insides of the little white lies?

...Where beyond those lies is paradise-

The place I know is not for me but still the place I long to be

...is it truly "paradise" if you aren't there?

What's the point in wishing if reality is excluded from the dream?

If a paradise with you is unattainable 

Then- I suppose I will have to make my own
