Basketball, a game between two teams, each team consisting of five players on a rectangular court, each trying to score a goal by throwing the ball into the opponent’s goal, which is a high horizontal hoop and a net called a basket. Points are scored by entering the ball into the basket on the  three meters high;  Where the team that manages to score more points than its opponent at the end of the match wins, and thus it is difficult to score a tie between the two teams.  Basketball is the only major sport of American origin, invented by the American James Naismith, and it is practiced all year round, day and night, in summer stadiums and gymnasiums, in city and industrial halls, churches, in school camps, and in the corridor.
