Peel my skin from your flesh if you want,
Your lips have my wounds even that.
Take the blouse off me to put it on him,
The smell of my fresh perfume already
Mixed with your sweet perfume.
You can take my love out of your heart,
My tears will feed your lungs with a sigh.
Your mouth has told many lies
To protect your pride, hiding your bad.
But even though I knew,
You'd only lend me a few nights
Of those you felt lonely
And then you'd leave me alone
The rest of my nights - unloved and single.
And even so I wanted
To have you right in my arms,
Even if your words were too cold
And the nights froze my blood.
