Headed north to Canada
To find a new way of life
Maybe the great outdoors
Will end my suffering and strife

Winters are mighty cold
Summers not so much
My friends think I’m crazy
Say I’m out of touch

With the reality they’re living
With the way that things are
With what our leaders are saying
Even how I drive my car

Am I just crazy
Leave it all behind
Find a new way of living
In a peaceful state of mind
I don’t mind the difference
Between you and me
But I don’t like the way you are
When you come after me

Found a piece of land
Build me a perfect home
Don’t know much about farming
Willing to learn first hand

Take a little sunshine
Share it on a cloudy day
Make the world a better place
By the words that you say

Change your reality
To match your state of mind
Make it what you think is right
Don’t listen to what they say

Am I just crazy
For wanting a better life
Finding a path worth walking
In a peaceful state of mind
I can see the difference
Between you and me
I don’t mind the difference
But I guess that’s just me

Home is where I want to be
Surrounded by my friends
Won’t you come along with me
On a marvelous journey
