I spent my life waiting 

For the sunrise to set, 

For the sunset to rise.

Scheduling meetings, 

Chances I never got.
  I wasted time and time never forgives;

With the mind of now I would

 Have changed many things in the past.  
The night carries a knife 

That cuts my heart in two 

And leaves my chest open

 For all this blue state 

Out of the blue.
Every day is a reminder

 Of my biggest mistakes.

I couldn't forgive myself, 

I wish I could!
