My heart has been utterly broken
The pain I tried so very hard to hide 
The weight of worrying had me feeling like I was choking
So I buried it all down deep inside

So many are saying that I have changed 
After losing my brother, sister, father and mother
The spiritual battle still remains 
How can I be strong for my other sister and brothers

Oh Lord I need you to see me through it
Help me to make it to it
Lord I need you to carry me through it
I need you to... help me
I need your help

Wait just a minute I am not finished
Lord it seems like no one understood
Everyday I was going through sinning in repentence 
Just doing things only because I could 

Moving out of anger, rage and grief
Lord it seems as the enemy's attacks just wouldn't cease 
Busy losing but I should be increasing 
Everyday I am struggling just to find peace

Oh Lord I need you to see me through it
Help me to make it to it
Oh Lord I need you to carry me through it
I need you to..help me...
Lord I need YOUR help

Lord I've had so many sleepless nights
But I know you're the way the truth and the light
So I'll stay in this race and continue to fight
And I'm going to fight with all my might

I know where all of my help comes from
No matter what I go through in life
Jesus you're the only one
That will make everything alright
