I hoped you were different, 
You swore you weren't like the others...
 Different lies on the same stage, 
The same kind of heart-wrenching love
 That once strangled me. 

  I told you to live in harmony during the war, 
You told me you want the same, love.
 Now my arms are afraid of the same touch
 That burned me and left 
My soul alone on the stage.
