The nights are the hardest
When the past comes a'calling
And you thought you'd hit bottom
But you're really still falling
Lost in your darkness
End over end
Drowning in nightmares
The night's not a friend
Echoes of screams
Memories of blood
You thought you'd escaped
Now there's nowhere to run
Every breath mocks you
For you might be alive
But the question still lingers...
Did you REALLY survive?
