So-called President Trump called in a missile strike against Syria's Shayrat air base yesterday. Why?

59 cruise missiles at a cost of over $49 million dollars and we didn't do enough damage to it to prevent the Syrian airforce from using it today to launch new air strikes? I heard, people are saying, the attack was choreographed with the Russians as a military theatre event to provide a distraction from the Trump-Russian investigation.

It is known that we provided advanced notice to Russia, thus Syria, that the attack was coming. Fortunately, this gave them time to move out jets and munitions  so all that was left were the garbage dumpsters. We nailed everyone of them.

One would think that if we were truly interested in stopping Assad, we would have fired a few of those birds at Assad himself. This man is not going to stop his aggression against his own people until he is stopped.

Sadly, Trump has shown that he has no capacity to lead our nation with any degree of proactive insight. He chose the least effective option presented to him while he lounged at Mar-a-Lago, one that  Putin himself likely approved of in advance.

So the expensive missile attack did absolutely nothing to diminish Assad's military capacity. A second consecutive failed military mission for Trump, yet he hopes it will divert our attention from the fledgling Russian collusion crisis investigation. We cannot allow that to happen. Trump is the single most dangerous home grown threat to America in our history. He must be stopped.
