It's snowing in March, 

The snowflakes 

Are white butterflies. 

 

Cover in white,

 Spring is coming late

Likewise last years.
 Another winter month, 

Cold mornings.

Low temperatures, 

The grass is frozen.
I miss the green of the trees.  

The white snowdrops are waiting

 To be given as a gift to the girls 

By their (boy)friends. 
It snows with big flakes,

 They melt on my clothes.

The wind carries them everywhere,

 Invades our territory
