So often we underestimate
The value of each other
Somehow I can relate
I guess I got it from my mother

I used to be soft
Believing all that shiit
Until I added up the cost
And saw you with another bihh

Time brings change
And a whole lot of pain
I got tired of taking the blame
And walking in shame

You out dirt on my name
After you stole everything
Tried to drive me insane
To you it was just a game

So now I act violent
After what you PUT ME through
Was I supposed to be silent
While YOU FAKE the truth

When the dust settles
I'm not settling out of court
Black lives matter
Only to the data charts
