It is a never-ending war,

Between me and my mind,

 All the memories left behind.
 Everything I loved and then I hated the most.

  Everything that healed me the first time,

 And hurt me afterwards. 
 It is the day that never doubts

 The light of night. 

 I am the one who never trusts

 My heart, the love and drugs.
 It is a rain that dries the sun,

 It is the whispers that cover

 The longing with my bad cry.
It is a race that never ends, 

Between me, the present and the past.
