How much more can I take
Before I'm so close to the edge
And I finally break
How much more before I shut down again
Using every coping skill I have
I'm okay even if I have to pretend
How much more can I lose
Only thing I have left our friends
Never giving up on me....they refuse
How much more that I can be grateful
To be lucky to have a few people that care
For them I'm always thankful
How much more do I have to go to through
Before I can rest my head
With the family I have left and the home I finally knew
How much for energy do I have left
Because I am tired and exhausted
And I need some TLC and rest
