wondering through the night
trying to find the words
but nothing sounds right
looking up
I watch the stars
missing you
and wondering where you are
how your holding up
if you thought about me to
trying my best to get home to you
And get out of this rut
feels like I'm doing anything but

wishing on the shooting star tonight
I can get it together
turn some of my wrongs.. right
that one day you'll be here
by my side, staying in my life
wish I may, wish I might
get me back to my family
where I'll be safe at night
show them I love them
and hold them tight
remind them
everything Will be alright

days are passing me by
no matter what I did
or how much I tried
I lost you
there's no excuses
but I never lied 
no one knows
how many years I cry
on the inside
endless sleepless nights
without you here
that isn't right
still I'm trying to fight
for you till the day I die
please don't give up on me
I don't know if you can see
just how much of my heart you have
