The beast had bright, glowing, red eyes and was well hidden amongst the shadow's. Anna was scared, but she was ready for a fight. The mighty beast was about ten feet from where she stood. She reached down for the knife hidden in her boot, but she was too late. The beast closed the distance and knocked her out, instantly.

Anna woke up on a cold, stone floor. She tried to lift her head to see her surroundings, but a sharp pain tore through her like a blade. She fell to the floor. 'Great,' she thought. She didn't see much, but stone walls. From what she could see, there was no door. Just stone. "Pit and pendulum" she whispered.
"You always talk to yourself?" A voice asked. The voice was of a seventeen year old. She turned her head and say a boy in the corner. He was wearing a blue shirt, with a pair of tore up bluejeans. 
"Who?...Where?.."
"I can only truly answer one, unfortunately. I am James Michael. And as for where we are, I don't know." He shrugged his shoulders. Anna reached up and felt the top of her head and winced at the touch. Anna looked at her fingers and saw blood. 
"Oh, yea. Your bleeding by the way."
"Thanks," she said and passed out.
When she woke, James was leaning over her with a medical kit, healing her wounds.
"Hey!" She yelled "Get off!"
"Sh!" He yelled back."you need my help."
"No, I don't!" She said
"I've delt with these type of wounds before, please just let me help." He told her.  She shook her head yea. She looked at his now red shirt.
"Did you change?" She asked.
"Nope." After he said that, was when she realised there was blue in the red. His shirt was stained with blood, her blood. She felt like fainting, but wasn't going to.
"How long have you been here?" She asked
"Six to seven years." He said
"Seven years?!?!" 
"Yea, you should probably get to sleep. You need a bit of time to heal." And with that she allowed her self some sleep.
