Today was the solar eclipse and according to my middle school it was very interesting. According to myself, it was a waste of the 8$ I spent on solar glasses. My only friend on the bus wasn't there today so I was forced to ride alone. I accidentally left my world geography textbook in Mrs. Fosters class and had to go get it after dismissal, which caused me to be the last one on the bus when all the good seats were taken. Then in being forced to sit in front of the rustic air conditioning that randomly spits out water, I took a nap and almost didn't wake up to be dropped off. When I got dropped off I forgot to hold my breath and accidentally breathed in the disgusting toxins you may smell when you exit our bus. When I finally get off the bus I realize I have to suddenly pee. I rush to the front door of my house and struggle to retrieve my house key from the tangled keychain it has been on for 3 years. It took me a minute to get the door open because the lock on our door is not my friend, and when I finally did open it, I literally darted to the bathroom to pee. I laid down on my bed and sat still for about 30 minutes, not once thinking about the 4 homework sheets I had to complete before the morning. About 5 minutes after I awaken from my power nap I hear the garage open and I suddenly remember my mother telling me this morning to do the dishes when I get home. I run to the kitchen to attempt to quickly do the dishes before she comes inside and mid wash if the 4th plate the door opens and my mother walks in. She seems not to have remembered about my supposed chore and judging by the look on her face I wasn't the only person that had a bad day.
