Many people when they thing of War just think about the killings, the fighting, the Evil, And hatred between one another. But what the people don't think about are the times where the guns fall silent. The best example of this is in 1914 during the first World War on Christmas day.A British Soldier climbed out of the trench, was not shot at, over in the German trench on soilder climbed out, he walked towards the man the two of them met in the middle. When the two solders meet they shock hands told each others name, after the handshack the solders from both sides climbed out of there trenches, and walked towards the center to join the two men. When the soldiers met with one another they all had a dinner, played foot ball with a small kick ball, befor the solders returned to their trench all of them exchanged small items back and forth. After all this happend it was given the name of the Christmas Truce.
This truce shows everyone that there can be peace with one another we will just have to meet halfway to get that peace.
