                      Chapter 1

   Hi, for those of you that don't know me my name is Erick A.K.A JayBuck. I know your wondering where the nick name "JayBuck" came from. Stick around and let me tell you about the end of my teenage years into a young adult Journey. 

The year was September 4, 2001 first day back to school two days before my 18th birthday. Got up really early had to be at the bus stop at 6:30am. School bus has been picking me up on victory and Radford for the pass 4 years of my high school term.

We arrived to school right at 7:30 since we made two stops to pick up other students on our way there, same routine every year. Homeroom started at 8:00am I had 30 minutes to say hi to my friends and catch up and ask what they do over the summer vacation. 

I was having a funny feeling since I arrived to school, every summer weeks before school year starts, I will receive a yellow card with my 7 periods of classes I had to take that semester. 

However that year my card was blank I only had my homeroom number and teacher's name where I need it to present my self wore not there. I asked a few of my friends if theirs was blank too. Some of them they had classes and some did not. That made me more worry and confused. Well the bell ring it was time to start school. Walked to my homeroom and only 4 students showed up to Mr. Raphael class, (weird) that's never happened before.

 I enter quickly and took a sit, Mr. Raphael quickly started talking. Well! I know you kids are wondering why you're period classes are blank. Each of you will be call in order to go see your counselor, so they can explain the reasoning of why you don't have assigned classes. We all looked at each other confused but more worry, we can see it in each other's face.
