Arica knew something was wrong the moment she opened the door. 
It wasn't because of the door was slightly ajar and
Swung open beneath her touch, even though her
Mother didn't usually leave the house unlockd. It

Hallway,either. And it wasn't even the quite mur-
Mur of voice drifting out to her from the living 
room. 
It was the magic. 
She felt in an instant she stepped inside. It prick-
led over her skin like icy rain and filled her mind 
With a murky,nameless foreboding. She took a deep
Breath to steady herself and pulled the door closed
Behind her while the dread she was feeling tightened
In her stomach like knot of pain. 
There was no place this magic could have come
From except north bundelag. 
She had gone in there on three different occasion
By falling through the crack in her grandmother's
Kitchen floor, and had spent  a lot of time getting to
Know the marvellous creatures of that land. By now
She was quiet familiar with the feel and the flavor of
Everything found there, including this. 
She was certain that it wasn't anything good. 
There were many different kinds of magic found
In Bundelag. There was the magic of the unicorns, a
Kind that was blue-bright and warm and race like
Tiny bubbles through her veins.
