Ciara was driving home from work. The digital clock on the dashboard said 3 am. She started work at the night shift, staring at nine.

Ciara pulled into her driveway. Her dog was barking as it always does when she gets home. Her house was a bit smaller then the houses around her work, but it wasn't too small. There was a flower bed following the steps to the door. She locked her car and it honked. Her dog still barking, she walked to the door, and opened it. She must have forgotten to lock it again, this it the third time this week she's done that.

She walked in, kicked her shoes off at the door and headed down the hall to the kitchen. Once there, she put her stuff on the kitchen table and went to the fridge to grab a t.v. dinner. Her staple food the past few months. Her dog kept barking, he usually stops after a few minutes.

The microwave dinged and Ciara grabbed her "dinner of champions" and went to the living room. She sat down, turned the TV on and started watching HBO. Suddenly, her car alarm goes off.
"Uggg, this is the third time this week!" She got up, headed for the kitchen and grabbed her car keys off the kitchen table. Once she stopped the alarm she heads back into her living room and continued to watch her TV. It was an old TV and sometimes it skipped channels, like it did tonight because when Ciara sat down, the TV was on the news channel. "Though on the bright side, the dog stopped barking" she thought. She's already got in trouble a few times for noise complaints.

Once Ciara finished her dinner, she went to throw it in the garbage out in the kitchen. That's when she realized she forgotten her phone in her purse. She didn't really need it, but she liked to have it on her just in case. She turned to the counter, where her stuff was and grabbed her phone then went back to the living room. She passively looked through her phone as the commercials were on, and realized she had an unsent message. She never remembered typing anything. She looked in her messages and saw what it said.

YOUR STUFF WAS ON THE TABLE, NOT THE COUNTER

The next thing she heard was breathing. Heavy breathing. It wasn't hers.
