My heart keeps my body warm,
I would be nothing without love.
I would be an object, without life.
Without breathing, I would not feel
The summer rain on my lungs.

My eyes are wide open,
My arms have traces of old hugs.
My mouth is hurt by the words
I hold under my tongue,
As if I throw them in the trash
And never remember about them.

My footsteps take me back a thousand times,
Before I take a step forward,
On that step that ruins my life
And gives me a headache.

My skin is covered with bruises,
My blood is still boiling.
My footsteps take me back a thousand times,
My heart keeps my cells alive in my body
