I see you in silence, 

With many words to say. 

I see you alone,

 With many friends around.


 I see you running even though

 Your steps are not in a hurry.  

I see you shining even if your skin dries

 And your nights become a curse -

 Lazy in bed - crying.


I see you beyond the clothes you wear, 

I see you beyond what my eyes see on your skin.

 I see you beyond your tender flesh,

 I see you beyond your strong bones, 

I see you beyond your hot blood,

 I see your charming soul shining on me.


I see you in silence, 

So many words to say. 

I see you alone, with many friends,

But no one able to see

Your charming soul shining.

  • It started off good. I have to admit in the middle I became lost with the repetition of versus in your piece.
