Down the narrow lane I thread
Step by step seeking peace in my solitude

In a distracted world, with a love that is dead
Finding ways to heal my heart and seclude

Sky was in sync with my heart, there was rain
Everything like in the beginning was the same

With rain washing the pain
And the breeze cooling the flame

I'll cry my heart out today
And be that strong person tomorrow 

Putting my pains behind a smile 
 walking with my head up 

Building a wall and caging my heart
And not be at the mercy of love.
