Cheers To My Teenage Life Read Count : 103

Before my Teen, I got to attend my puberty
Where cleansing the sanitaries became my duty
Which wasn't easy to go through
Along with the pain with which I grew
I got mature before my age could do

A note to self on having a great bleed
For which my ovary started to plead
I had none to share my sorrows to
And made myself write with blue
I got mature before my age could do

In every stage of my life, I fell and I stood up
I Was courageous enough and hardly gave up
People tried to let me down
But I never allowed myself to put off my crown
I got mature before my age could do

My mood swings, my behavior that I had to deal with
To overcome all these circumstances I felt beneath
But I barely put my spirit being at stake
Please, don't judge me for God sake
I got mature before my age could do

I had to face many restrictions
I was tied up with society's "so-called" traditions
It was very difficult for me to survive
To live in this judgemental life I had to strive
I got mature before my age could do

They considered me as I don't know to tackle any situation
They never understand my persuasion
When I turned eighteen they said, you are mature now, but
I laughed and told them that
I got mature before my age could do

And now it's my last Teenage
Probably at a young age, I became a sage
I don't fear being harmed
Now I welcome life’s challenges with open arms
I got mature before my age could do.
