I am here
To sate my hunger for
Adventure
To quench my thirst
For a place
Safer than this
I am starving
Here in this drought

I stand here
I have come for a love
Never found in
Children of Man
For peace on Earth
Cannot be
Through man alone
I am starving
Here in this drought

Eyes, so madly alive
Heart, now bursting inside
These roiling seas, these burning skies
I see through
To a place beyond

Eyes, so madly alive
Heart, now bursting inside
Sunder the skies
Pierce through to Heaven
Bask in the light

I came
To sate my hunger for
Adventure
To quench my thirst
For a place
Safer than this world
And I found another

Washed afresh in His blood
I found adventure
Cleaving the horizon
With the sun

Eyes, so madly alive
Heart, now bursting inside
Sunder the skies
Pierce through to Heaven
Bask in the light
