I long for the day when I open that door and I see your smiling face
 And I fall into your embrace 
But while you are away
 I will continue to pray
 For angels to guide your way
 And keep the demons at bay
 that laugh you're dismay 
 of being so far away
I will continue to have faith 
That God will return you to me safe 
And I will continue to fight
 For what is right 
And I'll keep the end in sight
 For you were at the end  
Holding my hand 
Telling me that this was the end  
I'm home to stay
