Honey, they tried to part our fingers, 
We clenched our fists.
 No one succeeded...
 They left, and we are safe.

Now... You can rest your head on my shoulder.

  Honey, they tried to part our lips,
 I kept your mouth between my lips, 
They couldn't break the sweetest kiss...

 Honey, they tried to take our hearts away, 
They stayed connected through our pure love.  
It made us love each other more.

Now I can read your thoughts, 
Kissing your forehead.
