A lot of people cross their t’s 
Dot their i’s you know provide you
With the same basic lines 
Straight and narrow cause that’s the way to go 
I think trying to please others and being up to par is what hurts the most


Being told you’re not enough to someone you showed nothing but love;
Being told you’ll be less than when you’re destined for greater;
Being abandoned in a time of need and Neglection will make a mourning heart sing;
For all of the pieces that I gave I sat a semicolon between;


Because an author can choose to end a sentence with a period and let those words be the last thought, the last memory, and or the final ounce of pain that the reader feels; or he can place a semicolon to let you know this is where it can stop and began.
