I didn't know how much warmth 

A smile could hide.

I didn't know that my truth 

Could be a real lie for the person I love.
  Until I saw you, 

I thought angels didn't even exist.

Until I saw you,

 I thought people were murderous devils 

Who invaded empty beds and sad souls around.
 But your hand brought me into your arms,

 And your mouth brought me straight to heaven.

 My heart began to sing, 

And my skin began to blossom

 Like a yellow rose.

Petals covering my chest

 With sweet whispers and caresses.
I didn't know how good a word 

Could make me feel... until I heard you: 

 "I'm here, baby.  

Don't let my fingers fall over another."
"Don't let my words go,

 Keep your ear close to my lips,

To remind you how special you are.

I can't let your eyes shed tears."
