This darkness
Consumes me
Breaks me down and leaves me hopeless
And I can't see the light
No matter how hard I try

So I struggle And I fight
But I'm still locked inside
This closet
Can you see me
Can you help me
Cause I can't break free

All these monsters inside
Shame and demons and pride
It's where they all hide
And I just want to find
A way to be happy
Am I enough don't you lie
Help me get to the light

These secrets
Control Me
Deceive me and they lead me
I feel like I'm losing hope
Can I tell you 
Will you listen
Or are you just pretending
I really need a friend

So I struggle
And I fight
