I remember a life before the virus

a life where you didn’t have to wear a mask

you could have gatherings

give hugs

Not worry about getting sick

Not worry about shutdowns

Right now that life seems like a distant memory

Like a branch that is a bit too out of reach

Everyday that life seem to fade with each passing day

Will we ever get that life back?

After this pandemic, everything will change in ways nobody can imagine

What will life be like after the virus?

Will we ever be able to gather together again?

Will children be able to celebrate a normal Christmas again?

Will we ever have human contact again?
