At school everyone was talking about a party taking place that night. Of course I had to go. So that night when I got home I had to make sure Matilda was gone and sure enough she was! So I picked out a sweet dress my hair was cued and I put on some makeup and left. When I got there I saw Ben, Mackenzie, and Kylie. Ben saw me first and walked up to me. "Hey gorgeous " he said before kissed me on the cheek. "Hey" I said with a bright smile. "Is the makeup too much?" "No its perfect " he said. He took my hand and we headed to the dance floor. We started dancing. And Kylie was dancing with Mackenzie I wanted to join them. "Ben?" I said. "Yes?" "Do you Care if I go dance with Kylie and Mackenzie? He looked behind him and saw my friends. "Not at all." I joined my friends and we shrieked at each others dresses and then we danced until our hearts content. It was almost 10 so Matilda would be home around that time so I had to leave. But I ran into a guy. "Sorry" I said. He grabbed my hand. "Its alright. Wanna dance?" He asked "I was actually just leaving." And just like that he kissed me and Ben was standing right there. He was Kylie's ex and and Mackenzie's current boyfriend so I hurt all of them they were all looking "Kylie Mackenzie its not what it looks like " Mackenzie grabbed Kylie's hand and they walked away from me. I turned around and Ben had a tear. "Ben " I touched his face but he jerked away from me. "I can't believe I trusted you." He left. I was alone. I've never felt so lost in my life.
Chapter 10- When I got home Matilda was on the couch watching tv. "Matilda?" She turned around. "Hey sweetie. What's up?" I started crying right there. "Ben broke up with me" "What?" She said. She pulled me to the couch with her. "What happened?" "This guy kissed me and he seen me and said I knew I shouldn't have trusted you. Matilda graduations tomorrow what am I gonna do?"  "It will be ok charlie boys are overrated anyway" I laughed . "yeah I guess your right." I went upstairs and took a shower. Usually by this time  I would have a 1000 missed calls from Ben but when I checked my phone I had no missed calls from him. He must really hate me. I'll never be able to look at him again
Chapter 11- Today is graduation and Ben still isn't talking to me. Neither is Kylie and Mackenzie. I'm looking around the football field and see Ben talking to Kylie and Mackenzie. Kylie sees me and waves. I start to wave back but before I can Mackenzie quickly jerks her hand down and whisperes something to her. What is she saying? I want to find out but then principal mick calls me to the stage to give my big speech. I'm in the stage and everyone is clapping. "Hi" I said into the microphone. "Well here we are. We've made it. When we walk out of here today, some of us hope to become lawyers, doctors anything you want. But the truth is will you make it there? Highschool is filled of mistakes. We make mistakes. But we learn from those mistakes because those mistakes help us grow and the more we grow the wiser we get and the real question that all of us need to answer before we graduate today is, what is the price your willing to pay for the amount of mistakes you make? Thank you."  I walk off the stage and I feel taps on both of my shoulders and when I turn around there is Kylie and Mackenzie. "We're sorry . Kylie said. "For?" I asked. "Well" Mackenzie started. "Since chance is my boyfriend I should have known that he was drunk but half of what happened last night is my fault " "how is it your fault?" I asked. "It doesn't matter just know i- we she " this time point at herself and Kylie. "Are sorry" then we gave hugs and they left. Then i saw Ben walking towards me so I fixed my hair. What? Its a girl thing. "Hey" he said. I didn't say anything. "Some speech you gave huh?" I still didnt say anything. "Look charlie I understand if you don't want me to be your boyfriend anymore I was a real jerk." "No" I said. "I was. I should have attempted to talk to you but instead I acted like a real dog if you know what I mean." "Yeah ". he said. "I do." We laughed and then her left when I turned around again there was aunt matilda. "Matilda?" "Hi charlue. Look I don't want you to leave." "You don't?" "No stay with me and I pronise I'll help with everything around the house and no more strange guys from the bar OK?" "Ok" I said and then we hugged. So Thats my life. I'm with a boy who loves me for me, two as we so me friends, and bonding time with my aunt finally! So as it all turns out I'll be just fine. My name is charlie valentine and this is my story.
