Father, mother, brother, sister
or friend;
I WISH I SAID…
Doubts and denials
a smoke screen,
a mask of clever disguise
a heart ruptured on the inside.
Weighty cross to bare
comforting words, actions,
a listening ear
a solution, your burdens
you'd not share.
I WISH I SAID…
How much you mean to me,
for there's always a solution -
don't you agree?
I WISH I SAID…
How could it be
a mind convincing trick….
Suicide, death….
