When the devil sent me

 Bad thoughts and troubles, 

I went over them smiling. 
 When my heart

 Did not pay attention to the brain,

 I tasted the disappointment as a real pain. 
 When they told me, when I told them,

 When we all said, 

That love does not guarantee anyone 

That it will last long.

 What is the cost in the end,

 After the breakup, nobody knows.
When God sent me sunny days,

 Another chance at life, 

Other new people to connect with,

 I knew I had something to be thankful for,

And not to remember my bad days.
