She covered my broken heart with a hug. 

 Forever, it's never... All I have.  

I thought it would take more

 Than a blink of an eye.
 If I had known she was leaving quickly, 

I would have tried to turn the sad end of the story

 Into a happy story, to be happy. 
 She covered my smile with her lips, 

Our kiss was a prayer said out loud to our cells.

I felt happiness, being protected - in love.

From "Hi" I have to say goodbye, my friend.
