There have been numerous reports of stealing in nearby markets. Some have said it's a guy and others say it's a young girl. At this point fifteen-year-old, Nao Isago could care less. Nao lives in Kyoto, Japan with his dad, Minoru Isago. His dad works for the police in Japan. So of course Nao has to follow the rules. Although he lives the 'rich life' he hates having to listen to his dad lecture him everyday. Today a man that worked in one of the market places that recently got robbed came knocked on Nao's door and asked that he help search for the culprit. Nao agreed and set out on his bike trying to see if he could find anything suspicious. While he was riding around an almost deserted area he came across a hooded figure. He stopped and yelled "Hey!". The figure bolted into one of the alley ways. Nao left his bike and ran in the direction of where the figure once stood. He looked everywhere until a hand covered his mouth and took him into an alleyway. Then the mysterious person said in a whisper "Be quiet if you wanna live". Nao was quiet and took a quick glance to his left and saw police men. 'Could they be searching for this person?' Nao thought. Then he looked at the hooded figure. "She isn't here!" said one of the police men. "She probably has already escaped. Let's go!". Then the police men all got into their cars and drove off. The mysterious person watched them go then released Nao. "What was that for!?" asked Nao.

"I had to make sure there were no witnesses" said the stranger.

"Witnesses? Are you the person everybody was looking for? You're the culprit!"

"Keep it down will you!" said the stranger while looking around making sure nobody had heard. "Yes I am the so called 'culprit'"

"If you are the culprit then what do you want from me?"

"Are you kidding me? Do I look like I want anything from you?"

"Well I'm not sure. I can't see your face"

"Fine. Just promise me you won't tell anyone you saw what I look like?"
Without hesitation Nao said "I promise". Then they took off their hood and revealed the most beautiful girl Nao had ever seen. She looked around his age maybe younger. "You happy?" said the girl in an annoyed tone.

"Possibly" said Nao "I still don't know your name"

The girl rolled her eyes and said "How annoying are you really?" she hesitated then said "My name is Makoto. Makoto Takahara" 

"Makoto? That's a unique name"

"And? What's yours?"

"My name is Nao Isago" then he stood there thinking and said "Do you have anywhere to go Makoto?" 

Then she said sarcastically "Well let's see: One. I'm a fugitive Two. Do you think I would have anywhere to go if I steal stuff off the markets?"

Nao then said the stupidest thing he has ever said "How about you come with me to my house"

Makoto laughed then said "You're gonna play jokes with me now?" Then she saw that Nao's face was serious then said "You're not lying?"

"Do I look like I'm lying?"

"Fine. But I swear to god if you tell anyone about me being the fugitive I will kill you with no hesitation.Got it?"

"Got it"
