Looking for love, I always found 
Someone to break my heart 
And ruin my own love.  

Searching for the truth,
 I always found lies
 That I had to accept as excuses. 

 "Forgive me, I didn't mean to hurt you.
  I already knew you couldn't 
Understand me if I could have told you about it."

 "Looking for peace I always found
 Sleepless nights, many things to think about,
 And no one to talk to about them, 
Just a few sheets and a pen...

To let them rest outside my head,
 Outside my life, 
Outside my gray pain.

Now I'm looking for nothing, 
My legs are tired too,
And I have no love to share anymore
 I'm older than all the years I have.
