We're like two kids, we're just as mature as elders at times,

I'm chasing pigeons, you laugh at me,

I'm clinging to your pockets, you play with rocks and empty bottles,

You know i'm into soccer.

You bring me back to my old self, it feels like magic...

I have a freedom that they couldn't understand —

Not that i'd ever tell anyone our secret.

It's heaven, everytime i'm next to you,

A living hell of longing, until we meet again.

My inner child's been forced to live an adult life,

Society's almost crushed my real self, pressuring for imaginary standards.

Yet, next to you, everything they've created, fades away...

Next to you, i can feel safe into a private world that's made of happiness.

Your voice, even through the phone, makes me feel like your are in my arms,

Your laughter makes me laugh even harder

And this time it's nothing to be hidden under.
