Journey To Thankfulness Read Count : 87

Life'sTwilight came
Its dark shadows fell
And posessed me
In my manmade hell
As wearily I lay down
To sleep or die
Held captive
'Neath a moonless sky.
Then somewhere far away
Through darkest dreams of foggy mist
A voice did say;
"Let go...  Let go...
Be still
And know
That I am here...
Open your eyes
And do not fear..."
So I slowly opened my eyes
To dawn's pure light,
And as morning sunrise whispered its good bye
To darkest night.
A tiny spark of Faith inside of me
Awakened my spirit to Hope
And set me free.
Then all at once upon My Angels wing
I did rise and float in Love,
To Joyfully sing
Of Thankfulness to God
For every living thing.

I think I have those feelings once in a while . I can relate to it.
