No matter the role 
Today we won't water it down
At time's life's gets cold
But a special thanks to those who stayed around 

A father's love is oh so dear
Cherished no matter the distance 
To those far and near
So often we glance

When life beings joy and pain
Always a shoulder to lean on
Momma praying in Jesus name
While pops covers with no shame


To wipe the tears away
Or to help us stand
Even keeping goons in place
After all you're the man

I Hope this day 
Has been filled with love and cheer
Happy Father's Day not only today
But throughout the whole year
