I see my peers go far
This makes me feel behind
They seem to reach a height
Making me realize I'm still at the bottom
Why am I doing this?
Isn't laziness breaking it's spell on me?
What else makes me feel this way?
It's obvious I stand down like a statue
Waiting for what the future has in store
I feel too comfortable under my sponsors
Because they give me all I need
Now I know that it's hard for man to climb on a full stomach
He gets carried away by the sweetness of the food
It's time to get up! Get climbing!
Get as high as possible!
I won't stay down and watch them climb ahead of me
No more staring at the cloud
I'd rather let the cloud be
And not keep it waiting
I really have to stop staring
And rather get moving
It's not too late to get up there
But the earlier I climb, the better for me.
I just hope I'm not the only one down who feels this way.
